I was very pleased to have three paintings chosen for inclusion in a salon show this November, as part of the LIC Arts Long Island City Open Studios weekend. The show is in The Plaxall Gallery, 5-25 46th Ave., Long Island City, NY 11101, and will be up until December 31, 2017.
Gallery hours are Thursdays 6–10PM, and Saturdays and Sundays, 12–5PM
The Plaxall Gallery is an incredible space, a truly huge warehouse that has been offered to LIC Arts for the past few years as an exhibition space and location for classes and events. The sad news is that, like so much real estate in New York City, the area has become valuable and will be developed in the near future.
So don’t miss a chance to see a great art space while it is still around. Plus, this show is a fantastic collection of work from over a hundred local artists.
